Review: Imagine Teacher for DS
Do you want to be a teacher when you grow up? Maybe you could use some of these activities. The game begins by walking you through what to do. Then, you go to your planner to choose what your classes are going to be. You can choose from math, science, art, music, language, reading, and sometimes even field trips. You can check the kids' files at your desk. Then, you go to your classroom and place the students where you want. Be careful to watch the top screen so you don't have fighting. After the students are placed, you begin your lessons by reading a book, then you do an activity or two. When you're done, the kids will work, and you'll correct their papers. After school, you can give the children a private lesson, clean the clasroom, practice activities, or personalize the classroom. (You can buy things to add them to your inventory.) As you play longer, the game will be more challenging, you will have more papers to correct, and there will be more kids. On Fridays, you have a staff meeting, and you will be awarded money for how well you did. You can also play mini-games with wireless multiplayer, only 1 card required, which is great. I think the kids are cute, and most of them are really nice. The only things I didn't like are that you don't get to choose the name of the teacher, it sometimes doesn't recognize your handwriting, and sometimes you don't get enought time to do your activities.
I think this game is good for about ages 10 1/2 and up (and since the teacher is a girl, boys may not like it), especially people who have very neat handwriting and people who are quick writers and can quickly solve school-related problems. I think the game is worth buying, and you'll have a lot of fun with it. Trust me. Term Images for "Review: Imagine Teacher for DS" |
