Ever since I was a young boy, I played a silver ball
But now it's hard to find them when I go to the mall
Arcades once ubiquitous to home games now did fall
And video game consoles since have replaced them all.

Along comes this Dream Pinball I can play on the Wii
Or play it on my DS or even on PC
But this review will look at Nintendo's consoles all
What do we think of SouthPeak's Dream Pinball?

In the game you play 6 tables, pick which one you like best.
A variety of genres, but still a real geekfest
Knights, zombies, dinos, airplanes, whale songs and wizard brawl
You may sense a theme here; still, fun for the eyeball.

Besides an odd recurring splashing theme, the game has little in animated gleam.

Each table has a voice (some so-so)
Others fairly good.

While you have the standard steel ball, it soon can be replaced
With those of wood or ivoryor glowing gold displaced
It's s'posed to changed their physics, but it's hard to tell at all,
It still adds variety while you play Dream Pinball.

Wii boards each have objectives that score bonus points galore,
While the DS splits this with modes, but nothing new in store,
And while both have multiplayer, each must take turns to play,
And to take turns in the DS, mult'card means each player must pay.

You can change the camera angle with a simple button press,
But the Wii uses the D-Pad, which also controls the left,
Hit it just at the wrong angle, and the camera will change,
So you can't see the flippers--this layout annoyingly is strange.

All of my kids from seven up to twelve enjoy this game so I never have to shelve (it).

If you're looking for nostalgia, well you prob'ly could do worse.
It's a decent recreation, the camera it's greatest curse,
Though it has some scary zombies, and Elvira clothes too small,
You will likely enjoy this; it's a fun pinball game overall.
