The name's Case ... Catalyst Case

If James Bond owned a Nintendo DSi, he'd protect it with the Catalyst case from CM4. This machine-stamped aluminum beauty is covered with a fabric which gives the feel of soft leather. With this case wrapped around your portable console, you'll no longer feel self-conscious whipping out your DS when traveling business class.  read more »

Now I know why Ron Stoppable hates monkeys so much!Storm City Games has been an aggressive player in the DS market over the past year bringing out some engaging games (Jewel Master Egypt), some innovative games (System Flaw), some ambitious, but ultimately flawed games (T.A.C. Heroes). While not all of these games have lived up to their potential, neither have any of them been a serious disappointment.  read more »

T.A.C. Heroes Big Red OneT.A.C. Heroes: Big Red One is an ambitious, unique offering for the DS platform. Using the World War II as a background, it casts the player as the commander of a squad of soldiers from the 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army.  read more »

ATV Quad Kings -- Delivers pretty much what the cover promises

As I write this, my neighbors are loading their ATVs on a trailer for a weekend trip into the Utah mountains. Storm City’s new game ATV Quad Kings for the DS would be the perfect way for them to pass some time on the road. This delivers-what-it-promises title is just the ticket for the ATV enthusiast who wants a quick fix.  read more »

Box ArtZhu Zhu Pets took the world by storm last Christmas. I know I had relatives across the country looking for them for my kids. So when Activision announced a Zhu Zhu Pets video game, I knew our kids would want it, and I was happy when a review copy landed in our mailbox. Personally, I've been waiting for this game ever since Virtua Hamster was announced (and canceled) for the Sega 32X.  read more »
Box ArtHave you ever wanted to walk into a music studio, sit down at the music synthesizer, and just start playing with dials, sliders, and buttons? Well, now you can, right on your DS!

The Korg DS-10+ Synthesizer isn't a game, but rather a full-featured musical tool. It includes sequencer, piano keyboard, KAOSS pad, patch panel, drums sequencer, mixer, effects, and more. If you use it on a DSi, the number of tracks (12 instead of 6) available doubles via the DSi-only Dual mode.  read more »

InfiniteSpaceBoxart.jpgI've been waiting for this game for a long time. I've watched the animated shorts that Production I.G. did (the ones I could find, anyway). I was disappointed when the release date was pushed last year to this Spring.

And I'm glad I waited. Infinite Space hits several geeky places in the cockles of my heart. If you're like me, and you enjoy big space battles, an open world environment, a ton of customization features, ever deepening gameplay, and what looks like (at least if early play is any indication) a fairly epic storyline, then Infinite Space might just be the space RPG you've been looking for.  read more »

PokemonBoxArt.jpgHere we are again, a few months later, with the latest (if not necessarily the greatest) iteration of Pokemon.

What is there to say? It's Pokemon. If you love these games, chances are good you've already gotten this one. If you hate them, you're not going to be swayed by anything I say here. It's still the same game that we've seen before, with a (somewhat) new story and some interesting new features.

Are those new features enough to justify a purchase? Let's see.  read more »
