SyncMaster 220TN Facilitates Streamlined and Secure Communication; Named 2008 CES Innovations Honoree

LAS VEGAS – January 6, 2008 – Samsung Electronics America, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, a world-leading manufacturer of professional LCD and PDP display products, has unveiled the new SyncMaster 220TN monitor, the company’s first V2oIP-enabled network monitor. Due to its high-performance value coupled with its unique V2oIP capabilities, the SyncMaster 220TN monitor was named a 2008 CES Innovations Honoree. A selection of Samsung’s monitor lineup will be on display during CES 2008 at the Samsung booth, #11033 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 7-10.

Featuring a built-in camera, microphone and speaker, the SyncMaster 220TN monitor facilitates true-to-life web conferencing, which can reduce long-distance phone costs and the need for frequent business travel. Featuring a 5 ms GTG response time, a 700:1 contrast ratio and 300cd/m2 brightness, the model is equipped to produce crisp, true-to-life images, while the wide 170/160 viewing angle further enhances the overall viewing experience. The monitor also incorporates dual inputs for DVI-D and analog.
