Service: Nintendo Wii Update #1

Our story thus far...

When my Wii developed serious and on-going disc read errors, I started the repair process and shipped it off to California for a little R&R (repair and reconstruction). You can read all about it here.

Good little geek that I am, I set an auto-track on the FedEx number and received an update this morning. According to FedEx, my dysfunctional Wii was delivered to the California repair facility at 9:49 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009.

Anxious to see where my Wii is in the process, I went to the Nintendo Support site and plugged in my repair number and zip code.

According to that site...Nintendo hasn't received my hardware yet.

I'm assuming that this will change in the morning....at least I hope it will. I feel about the same way I do when I'm waiting for my teenage driver to tell me that he's arrived safely at school on a snowy morning. I'm sure everything is going to be alright, but I'll feel better when I have evidence.
