Google on your iPhone and iPod Touch

We've been talking about Google's bid for the 700 MHz spectrum for a while now, but while they patiently bide their time for world domination, they've created a very cool Web app for the iPod Touch and iPhone. Many users have complained about the lack of Google support on the iPhone, but complain no more. The new web app includes Search, Gmail, Calendar, Reader, "and more."

And as I ponder this, a question pops into my mind: "Remember when AltaVista was the ultimate search engine?"
