CES 2008: The World Bows Before Apple

CES 2008 has come to a close, and while we still have some more comments on it, I've discovered a running theme through so much of CES that it's enough to make a freedom-loving man a bit nervous. See whether you can figure out the trend:

Did you figure it out yet? Somehow, Apple has managed to take over CES without stepping foot inside the building. Now that is not to say that every gadget at CES has an iPod dock, but it sure seems like it, and this is just a sampling and not a single Zune dock in the house.

I, for one, bow before our new iOverlords, I mean iProtectors.

So the real question remains: if Apple dominated CES as its legions of third party companies proclaimed their loyalty to King Steve, what will their iLiege herald in next week? Signs point to a docking station, but a dock that will put the other docks to shame.
