Officially licensed video games -- from the horror of the Michael Jackson arcade machine of the 80s through any number of movie tie-ins -- tend to be more about the license than the game. I’d love to have been present at the early design meetings for Out of the Chute. I would love to have seen the team grappling with the problems inherent in designing a game around a sport which takes place in eight-second increments.
