  • And hello, Afghanistan!

We were at Subway a couple days ago for lunch and got some kids' meals. Included is a card allowing for a free song download from the Hannah Montana show. The catch is that the songs are for Windows Media Player in WMA format, and you need Internet Explorer for Windows to go to the site. We're a Mac/iPod family, so these are useless to us.

SO, here's the codes. First one to enter them gets them. Just go to subwaykids.com and enter the following codes to get your freebies:

So last night, I called a Dish affiliate to ask whether their DVR was available with their Top 100 pack. He answered my question (Yes.), and I bid him a good night.

This evening, my cell phone rang, but since I was driving at the time, I handed it to Teresa to answer it. It was the Dish affiliate I'd talked to last night. He'd noted our Caller ID and decided to essentially "*69" us.  read more »

NOTE! Tech Talk for Families will soon be adding discussion forums to our site. When we do that, the Yahoogroup will be closed, and members will be encouraged to join the forums. Feel free to join the Yahoogroup to be notified when the forums open!

As part of Tech Talk for Families' ongoing commitment to provide tech resources for families, we want to let you in on the action by building an online community of mutual support for parents and families who use technology. (That would be pretty much everyone, we're thinking!)  read more »
